Nairobi - Lake Nakuru

Your safari begins as you arrive in Kenya’s vibrant capital, Nairobi. After a warm welcome at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll have a brief rest at your hotel before embarking on a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Set in the heart of the Great Rift Valley, this park is a haven for bird lovers, famous for its vast flocks of flamingos that create a pink spectacle around the lake. During your first game drive, you’ll encounter rhinos, lions and possibly leopards amidst the park’s diverse habitats. As the day winds down, retreat to your comfortable lodge or camp, where dinner and stunning views of the lake await.

Day 2:
Lake Naivasha National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake known for its serene beauty and abundant wildlife. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat ride on the lake, where you’ll spot pods of hippos and a variety of waterbirds, including African fish eagles and pelicans. For the adventurous, a guided walking safari on Crescent Island offers an up-close encounter with giraffes, zebras, and other grazing animals in their natural habitat. Relax at a charming lodge along the lakeshore, soaking in the tranquil surroundings as you prepare for the next leg of your journey.

Your safari continues at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located at the base of Mount Kenya. This world-class wildlife sanctuary offers exceptional game-viewing opportunities and is home to the last two northern white rhinos. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where you can see rescued chimpanzees and enjoy a thrilling game drive across the conservancy’s varied landscapes.
