Days 1:
Kampala - Kidepo Valley

Your adventure begins with a warm welcome upon your arrival in Kampala. After a brief stop at your hotel, embark on a scenic drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, a hidden gem renowned for its rugged beauty and rich wildlife. Arrive in the park in time for a sunset game drive, where you may spot lions, elephants and giraffes against the backdrop of dramatic landscapes. Spend the night in a comfortable lodge surrounded by the tranquility of the wilderness.

Day 2:
Uganda Wildlife Conservation Centre

After breakfast, leave Kidepo and head to the Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre in Entebbe. This conservation hub offers an opportunity to learn about Uganda’s wildlife and the efforts being made to protect endangered species. Interact with rescued animals and enjoy a guided tour of the facility. Later, relax at your lodge in preparation for the next day’s adventures.

Day 3:
Journey to Lake Bunyonyi

Start your day with a journey to Lake Bunyonyi, often called the “Switzerland of Africa” due to its serene, terraced hills and picturesque islands. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing canoe ride on the lake, soaking in its tranquil ambiance. For the more adventurous, take a short hike to explore the local villages and immerse yourself in the culture of the surrounding communities. Spend the evening at a lakeside lodge, relishing the peaceful surroundings.

Day 4:
Explore Sipi Falls

Travel to the stunning Sipi Falls, nestled on the slopes of Mount Elgon. Spend the day exploring the series of three cascading waterfalls and enjoy guided hikes through lush trails lined with coffee plantations. Learn about the local coffee-making process and indulge in freshly brewed Ugandan coffee. As the day winds down, enjoy breathtaking views of the sunset over the valley before retiring to your lodge.

Day 5-6:
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Over the next two days, experience the life-changing adventure of gorilla trekking. Accompanied by expert guides, trek through dense jungle terrain to encounter these gentle giants in their natural habitat. In addition to gorillas, explore Bwindi’s rich biodiversity and vibrant birdlife. Each night, return to your eco-lodge for a well-deserved rest.

Day 7-8:
Murchison Falls National Park

Travel north to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most famous wildlife reserve. Spend the first day exploring the park’s savannah plains on a game drive, spotting lions, elephants and giraffes. The second day offers a thrilling boat cruise along the Nile, where you’ll witness the iconic Murchison Falls and encounter hippos, crocodiles and a myriad of bird species. Enjoy the park’s raw beauty and tranquility as you unwind in a riverside lodge.

Day 9-10:
Queen Elizabeth National Park

Conclude your safari with two unforgettable days at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Embark on game drives across the Kasenyi plains, famous for their lion population. Enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species up close. Explore the park’s stunning crater lakes and soak in the dramatic landscapes. After an enriching final evening, prepare for your departure back to Kampala the next day.
